I really enjoy this game!

Forgot how much I liked spider

An easy way to introduce or re-introduce this great game. So hard to play with real cards, so easy with virtual cards.

Nice Game

This is a colorful, easy to use game with great graphics. Love it.

I love solitaire, and this version has three difficulties to really test your skills

A Solid App, Worth Checking Out

I realize it takes a lot of effort to develop an app & get it into the App Store, so I think an app is worth 5⭐️ unless it deserves deductions for various reasons. I downloaded every spider solitaire app I could find to see which one I liked best. I wish someone had written a review like this for me, so I have included - [Notes of comparison are where appropriate]. Instructions/Help - There are no instructions which seems like a glaring error. While spider solitaire may be a common game, not everyone will know how to play. There should be instructions which also include: game theory (how to play in order to get highest score). When using the help button during play it should indicate number of moves possible (e.g. 1 of 4), not just the next move. Minus 1 ⭐️ Appearance - Looks good and has choices, both free and paid for cards & backgrounds [Not every app has this option so it is a bonus] Sounds - [I enjoy the sounds in the Fingerarts spider app a lot more.] These sounds are okay, however it seems like there is a lag between card play and sound. Similar to watching TV when the soundtrack is off by a fraction. Annoying, but not necessarily worth a ⭐️ deduction. Artificial Intelligence/Tap to Play - Has tap to play feature & the app sometimes puts the card where it makes the most sense. [Better than some, worse than some.] When using help it does not alert you if either of 2 cards could be used. If there are 2 Aces that could be used, it often chooses the least appropriate one and you never realize there was a second Ace you could (should) have used. Similarly, during play, a stack of cards are often placed on the column with the lesser sequence. Minus 1⭐️. Ads - Are reasonable EXCEPT for being served ads within a game (e.g. paused game to change options). [I prefer Fingerarts spider app which serves ads only after winning a game] Since this would likely occur only when setting up for initial game play, it is not necessarily worth a ⭐️ deduction. Game Center & Scoring - Game Center is integrated, however there is no explanation for how scoring is calculated. Each spider solitaire app seems to have its own method for score calculation so an explanation would be nice. Overall its a solid app that I will keep just to see if improvements are made that might sway me away from my current favorite or until I need more space. I wish I could give 4⭐️, but in its current state it has earned 3⭐️.
